In monster manual V, the Warsoul and Warcaster hobgoblins list "magical strike" as an atk option but it doesn't describe it anywhere that I can find. What is magical strike?

It's just the ability to attack as if the creature's natural weapons were magical. A highly useful mechanic, IMHO.

...I thought it might mean Arcane Strike as per the feat, but the above explanation seems more reasonable.

Similar templated abilities (I think these were quietly introduced in MMIV, maybe earlier):

Aligned strike (XX) where XX is the alignment type that the natural weapons strike as. Demons, for example, would have aligned strike (chaos, evil).

Metal strike (XX) which allows the natural weapons to strike as if they were made of that material, as in metal strike (adamantium).
