MnM with one player

Due to holiday schedules I may wind up running a solo Mutants and Masterminds game for a friend in a few weeks. She already has a PL 10 character, but I have no idea how to adjust challanges for a single PC in MnM due to my limited, virtually nonexistant, experiance with the system. I have an idea for the adventure (Her PC has discovered that she is the child of a supervillan who disappeared a few years back when she comes into her powers on her 18th birthday. Detemined to use her powers for good and find out what really happened to her father she moves to the City. Game opens as she is opening a bank account in her secret ID. Que bankrobbery. Later a local hero shows up and identifies her powers as similar to her fathers and thinks she is the robber. Que classic Marvel style misunderstanding so heroes fight scene.) but am a bit unsure of the mechanics.

Any suggestions? General or specific? What about PLs for individual bank robbers, their number, and the PL for a hero that should challange her but not instantly kick her butt?

Start small so you and your friend can get a handle on the rules.

Busting up some muggings or small armed robberies would be a good start, as could wading into a small gang battle.

What is her PC's schtick? Arcanist? Brick? Power Armor Guy? Martial Artist?

Also- no knock on the people here- but have you tried the M&M boards? I'd bet there are a lot of people there who have done just the kind of thing you're talking about.

If you want a little insurance, start her off with 3 hero points instead of 1, or include complications in the intro to give her those points.

Hero points will let her pull through even if a fight turns out to be harder than expected.
