"Modern" Minis

This might not be the right forum to ask this, but I was wondering if anyone knows of company that makes minis in modern-looking street clothes (no military or futuristic costumes)? Someone in our group will be running a d20 Modern game and I thought it would be fun to get a couple, if they exist. I found alternatives (such as counters), but really I enjoy painting minis. Any suggestions?

I'm afraid I don't - it doesn't look that likely that WotC will be producing some anytime soon (although they will be doing Star Wars miniatures, that might work in some cases).

check out Foundry Miniatures. They make a line called Street Violence. I have seen some at my FLGS and they're nice, if you play modern RPGs.

RAFM makes the minis for Call of Cthulhu. I've grabbed a few sets of those for my Modern game

Look around at Discount Hobby, a lot of the Fenryll Future figs and the Lance and Laser Bureau 13 figs are very good for moderns, there's probably others scattered about as well.

You could get some Homies- they were the first 'minis' one of my players brought to the game. They're close to standard scale, and they're definitely modern looking.

Wow, there are a lot more than I first thought! I should have guessed Iron Wind had some, and the Shadowrun ones are pretty much what I was looking for. Thanks!
