[Modern or Cthulhu] Looking for a good one shot.

I'm supposed to run a game tonight and the whole thing was kinda sprung on me. It'd be a one shot session so I'm not looking to spend any money. (Cthulhu or Modern, doesn't matter.)

Can anyone point me in the right direction? I'm prefering something fairly Cthulhu like, but I'm interested in anything of quality.

Some pregenerated PCs would be nice too. (Levels 1 - 3)

I don't have a full adventure for you, but here's an adventure starter you could use. Once you get some PCs, you can probably wing the rest.

Your info says your in Huntsville. Isn't that where the national space museum or something like that is? How about the characters are from some trumped up fringe newspaper and get permission to do a story on something in the place.

Turns out that some artifact has been disturbed by a recent move, sudden fall, whatever. It releases a virus that turns the janitor into something appropriate to the scenario (a grey or chupacabra for d20M, something icky for Cthulhu).

The characters end the adventure locked in the museum with the critter. As they hunt it while being hunted themselves, they realize it doesn't want to eat them. It wants to turn them into what it is. Clues that the janitor's original mind is still in there, but losing the battle, will help further the creepy-osity of the story.
