Please sell me on this product (heh...it won't take much...actually, if I had the cash right now I'd be driving to the game shop instead of typing this right now! :D )

I'd like to hear people's opinions on the book: highs, lows, whatever...I wanna get excited about this book before I buy it!

Um... It's written by former WotC employees, so unlike most third party products it actually has the d20 Modern logo on it?

Actually, I'd like to hear more about it too :p.

Ask a specific question, and I'll try to give a specific answer.

For now, I'll just say that the book has:

1. New Hero Class Talents
2. New Occupations
3. New Advanced Classes (yes, you can be a lawyer)
4. New Prestige Classes (something d20 Modern CRB lacks)
5. New Equipments (an homage to Spycraft "bundles, it also features "packages").
6. New FX abilities.

Oh, regarding item #3 above, for any aspiring game designers who cannot wait for Wizards to add those spellcasting or psi-manifesting classes to their MSRD, they offer their alternative versions as OGC.

Also, they included Rich Redman's article about ammunitions variants in the Appendix. Also in the Appendix, a compilation of feats from both d20 Modern and MPC.

Yes, it's definitely worth the money. The Advanced classes and Occupations are astoundingly useful additions to any modern campaign. Personally, I prefer the Arcane classes from the Companion to those in the core book. Hey, anybody know how the Game Mechanics got to reference the groovy incantation system in their product when it's not in the SRD yet? Just another gentlemen's agreement thing?
