Module recommendations

Vikarr

First Post
I'm looking for modules.
I'm running 3.5 but enjoy updating older (AD&D ect.) modules, and so don't care much about the edition.
I'm also interested in Paizo's adventures and would be very interested in recommendations for them.
What do you suggest?

Shackled City is one of the more entertaining adventure series I have ever participated in. Demons, politics, ass-hat nobles, uppity clerics...there's something for everyone. :)

Of the Paizo adventure paths, I liked Rise of the Runelords and think Kingmaker has some really really good sandbox elements, although the actual kingdom-building didn't, in the end, do much for me.

I'd say try to find a bunch of old Dungeon magazines. I love using their 3e modules. They often had very good ideas. Wotc's free adventures that were available for download were often also quite good, although they needed some work a lot of the time.

For a longer plotline with some real creativity (although the "middle third" can get a bit draggy) try to find the Night Below boxed set.

Thank you, that's really helpful.

Do you know where I could get them? Will amazon work?

The Shackled City Adventure Path was very awesome. My group had a great time with it. I would also recommend Enworld's War of the Burning Sky. Super awesome!

Please don't recommend that people download stuff illegally. - Rel

The old Judges Guild modules, some of which have been updated to 3.5 (somewhat sloppily), including my favorite The Dark Tower.

I've felt, from a players perspective, that Paizo's Adventure Paths tend to rock. So they get my vote. Also, though I never made it through the entire adventure, I really enjoyed what I played of Red Hand of Doom.

Also, I think you can still get the PDFs from Paizo.

SJ - it is not considered good form to suggest torrents or other such sources on these boards - just a friendly comment...

I've never had to look for them, but I'd try Ebay, myself.

I just checked, they still have the whole 3rd/3.5 run available as PDF and some as print, Thanks for the suggestion!
Can anyone recommend good issues to start with?

Thank you all for your advice, it's been very helpful!
