Modules the "Bowler" appeared in?

Does anyone know what modules the "Bowler" creature appeared in? All I know is T1-4 Temple of Elemental Evil, but I know there is at least one more module...

Asflag's Unintentional Emporium in Dungeon Magazine (issue 36? Maybe...) had a bowler, and a lot of other old monsters from the MM II and the Fiend Folio. It was a whole lot of fun when we played it.

I think this is actually the one I was thinking of... Thanks Melan!

check out this thread: http://65.127.163.19/showthread.php?t=81096 it doesn't list all of the encounters only when they appeared first.

as far as i was able to find Temple of Elemental Evil (1985) and 1edADnD Monster Manual II (1983).
Thanks, diaglo. Those thread(s) that were in the conversion forum are usually the first place I look - and indeed, I saw your post there (as I have in the past when looking for monster appearances) mentioning T1-4. Always a great help.

Thanks, guys!

heheh! that sounds pretty cool - what other critters are in that one?

BOZ: there was an adherer, a cifal (nobody else I know of got an use out of those guys!), the aforementioned bowler, scarecrow golems, fire snakes, volts (a metric f*ton of 'em), a whip-weed, multiple jaculi and the scariest of them all, the dreaded guardian familiar.

For those of you who haven't read the FF yet, the guardian familiar is a small black cat with nine lives, which gets progressivel more powerful each time it dies and reappears, so by the time it reaches its final form, it has 72 hp (that's a lot in AD&D), a 11 THAC0, plate mail and shield category AC and a +8 damage bonus. When I ran the module, two rival adventuring groups entered Asflag's tower, setting up traps and dispatching monsters. Both groups ran into the pesky thing and killed it a few times. The parties finally met in a huge staircase room. After a few heated words, a climactic battle ensued - lightning bolts flew, characters died and a fun time was had by all. When both sides were exhausted and close to defeat, the familiar returned in its seventh life, more powerful than ever! All characters fled from the scene, and only returned to finish each other off when the damned abomination had finished gorging itself on the dead bodies!

Ahh, memories....
