regional differences. possibly just the inspiration you need to finish fleshing out that culture you have been working on.

medieval Serbia- http://www.medieval-serbia.com/eng/index.htm this appears to be a really cool site, with tons of info and lots of different perspectives.

medieval Ireland, with troop types, a glossary and more- http://www.geocities.com/na_degadmedieval_ireland/

Iberia, Spain+Portugal http://www.fordham.edu/halsall/sbook1p.html tons of info here. moors christians, jews, castle and al the problems of mixing them.

Scotland- http://www.medievalscotland.org/ names, clothing literature, clothing, maps...

Russia, http://medievalrussia.freeservers.com/ everythign you could need to have a russian campaign, or fake it with orcs or elves or whatever..

Italy- http://www.shireofhartstone.org/italy.html soooo much, lots on literature, a portrait of the medici's, maps, good stuff.

Greece, http://www.e-grammes.gr/links_en.htm#medieval thinner than most, but there it is

India, http://www.kamat.com/kalranga/ancient/medieval.htm one of these days i am finally gonna run/play in a medieval india game...great info here, and enough pretty pictures to keep me up too late :)

two on Japan, different periods, Heian- http://www.wsu.edu:8000/~dee/GLOSSARY/HEIAN.HTM and the "tent" government- http://www.wsu.edu/~dee/FEUJAPAN/ASHIKAGA.HTM

Denmark, brief, but with enough to start you out- http://www.um.dk/english/danmark/danmarksbog/kap6/6-3.asp so here is more Denmark- http://www.scholiast.org/history/denmark/danhist2.html

Persia, this site goes up and down, you may have to check it more than once.- http://www.livius.org/persia.html but it IS worth it.

Africa- http://assets.cambridge.org/0521790247/sample/0521790247WS.PDF i am amazed by hard it is to find decent info on africa, i am working on that for a future monday thread.

But, obviously, that 4% doesn't include your own user avatar. ;)
