Mongoose in 2004 - Long!

Heretic, watch what you say. ABC Warriors deserves its own treatment, sure they teamed up with Nemesis for a bit but they were out on there own well before he appeared in 2000AD. To be honest it would be better if Nemesis was a single sourcebook for the ABC Warriors. :p

Maybe - but what era? Taming Mars seems to me to have limited scope, and the post-Black Hole ABC Warriors vs Terran Empire stuff may be beautifully drawm but seems to me to have a very thinly drawn setting and is heavy-handedly preachy: "Just say No to Order, kids! Chaos Rocks - can you dig it?!" :D

Nemesis, like classic Rogue Trooper, benefits from a very strong setting quite apart from the main characters. ABC Warriors to me _is_ the main characters, with very little else to go on. I can see a "what if you could be an immortal killer robot?" concept could be good, but it would need _several_ detailed settings across thousands of years of game-time. That seems a tall order.

I know that a couple of the older Slayer's Guides have been released in PDF format...have you considered doing this with other Slayer's Guides and especially the various Encyclopaedias?

The Encyclopaedias were a series that interested me but that I never quite pulled the trigger on buying for various reasons. And unfortunately, the completist in me probably won't now that several of them are unavailable.

However, I would be very interested in picking up lower-cost PDF versions if the quality was good. (Are the PDF Slayer's Guides [Gnolls, for example] good-quality scans, or are they actually formatted for PDF?) For my own uses, I wouldn't even be concerned if the PDF versions included 3.5 updates for the older books.

Just a thought if these series are indeed being allowed to ride off into the sunset (i.e., gradually fall out of print).

Edited to add that I am no businessman and in no way endorse this as a "solid" business plan. Just a random thought from a consumer.

I too would be extremely interested in seeing these in pdf format, updated for 3.5 or not.
