Well, I never watched Alias but my busines spartner, Alex, is a bit of a fan, so when he got the series one box set, I borrowed it. I have just watched the pilot and am, at this minute, halfway through the first episode.

I have to ask, what is the attraction? Why is it cool? Why would an RPG for it be great?

BTW, the new game (or, at least, one third of it) will not be d20. But it will be OGL. . .

Fairly detailed, complex, and long-term storylines that are quite fascinating. And interesting characters. (Oh, and spy/secret agent stuff is always cool.)

Why would an RPG for it be great?

Well, really it can be emulated with Spycraft, or even d20 Modern. I don't know why there should be a specific RPG, other than statting the characters. (Though I'd buy it, because I'm an Alias fan... just like I bought Stargate SG-1. I'd never play them, though.)

The new license is an american derived license, it has been either in a book, movie, tv show, or comic, but maybe not all of the above. If it is a combo of all of these, then it could be Transformers or GI Joe d20, maybe Spawn d20, but it's not Bond or Harry Potter cuz those came from England and not American created. Perhaps Robotech d20???

If it has to be bigger than the choices listed, my bets are on Sesame Street or Barney...

Think about it. Hook those preschoolers into role-playing and you've got a cash cow for an entire generation....
