Wraith Recon, available in your local stores from October 1st, is Mongoose Publishing's purpose built setting for the 4th edition of Dungeons & Dragons, published with the GSL.
Join the legendary Wraith Recon teams, dedicated special forces trained and equipped to operate deep within hostile territory. Entrusted with the most dire missions, the Wraiths are capable of overcoming almost any obstacle. Armed with the latest in Dardarrick magicks, and kept informed by the mysterious SpellCom system, Wraith Recon units are tasked with assassinations, raids, reconnaissance, and hostage rescue missions, in the name of truth, liberty and justice.
Written with D&D 4e in mind, Wraith Recon offers tactical play and a life or death struggle with every mission!
Following on from the main rulebook, Mission Pack I: Skies of Fire will appear in November to feature a complete campaign arc that leads on directly from the missions included in the main book (the Lorn Initiative). In December, Enemies Within will detail the threats that exist inside the Kingdom of Dardarrick itself, allowing Games Masters to create their own unique threats for the Wraith Recon teams.
