Mongoose's "The-game-that-still-cannot-be-mentioned"...what is it?

If it is Babylon 5, I hope that Moongose has been given a copy of the timeline JMS created for the series. Reportedly, it covers events as long ago as 1 million years ago and up to 1 million years in the future.

Possibly an exciting idea for an alternate campaign would involve B4 and the war the Minbari fought 1000 years before Sheridan's time. Similarly, there were some glimpses into the future in some episodes.

I think B5 would appeal to many people. The program does air regularly on the Sci-Fi channel.

(Humorous idea for a game: A one-shot B5- Farscape crossover. The legalese would prevent it, but it might be fun to do at home.):)

With a nick like mine, how can I not chime in? I am ALL for a new B5 game by, well, anyone. If Mongoose has the license, then that is the best news I have heard since the premier of the Legend of the Rangers (not that there has been much, er any, good news since). I hope that it touches on the aforementioned Rangers and Crusade material as well.

Of course, I am all for a Stargate rpg and a Firefly rpg (especially if the show it doesn't find a home) as well.

Despite the failure of Legend of the Rangers, I wouldn't count out the possibility of Scifi giving Straczynsly another chance to produce a movie/series. Legend of the Rangers just wasn't that great, and didn't deserve to be made into a series that would be doomed to failure.

Give it time and have faith. B5 will re-emerge in one form or another.
