D&D 5E (2014) Monk Damage

Does a monk add his/her ability modifier to his bonus martial arts attack? The description doesn't say to exclude it. Assuming you add it in, does that effectively give the monk the two-weapon fighting style available to fighters, rangers, and paladins?

Mooks Are are my fav class in 5E. Anyway I would say yes, they do add their ability mods to damage.

The Mook does not get TWF style, they are given a number of attacks in either in their spec abilities or what order they choose.

Yes, she gets her damage bonus with her unarmed attacks. When she gets a bonus unarmed attack it is just like a normal unarmed attack.

But I would not say it is the same as the Two Weapon fighting ability. A much more limited choice of weapons, for one thing.

Yes, it gets the ability mod to the bonus attack or attacks. No, it doesn't count as two-weapon fighting.

You can even use it while holding a spear or quarterstaff in both hands as you can still kick.

It would grant normal bonuses to the attack/damage, just like the Extra Attack ability. The bonus attack gained by two-weapon fighting is specific in that you are attacking with a light weapon that suffers this bonus loss, while the Monk ability is simply a nonTWF bonus attack.

Like they operate with the Dual Wielder feat with Unarmed Attacks and Monk Weapons.

Exactly the only time you don't add you ability mod to melee damage is with dual wielding without the feat. For example the Polearm Mastery feat allows you to make a d4 base damage extra attack, you add your strength mod to that damage too.
