Monk/Ranger builds?

I was playing around with one but not sure if its all taht great.

I don't think the Sacred Fist levels are worth it. A major part of that class is advancing spellcasting, which sucks for a ranger.

As for the Monk/Ranger mix, I've believe it can work well for a build where you're trying to max out the number of attacks you can do in one round, but Fighter would be better for anything else. You don't get enough ranger levels to have the spellcasting or companion features be worth anything, and monk gets enough skills to keep things interesting on their own.

I would use Kensai instead of Sacred Fist. That class works very well with the Monk, I have found.

but the monk benefits dont increase with kensai correct?

any ideas on feat progression?
