Monk: What's it take to catch an episode?!?!

OK my interest has just been tweeked, What is this new "Monk" show about and who's in it and when can we expect to see it in the UK. Does it have any cool effects ? Like a Quivering Palm through about 20 Bad Guys...hehehe !!! Are Monks Kicking Butt every episode? etc...or is it about some dude called "Monk"....Bummer !!! [sigh]

Monk has been on BBC2 on Saturday afternoons, in a sort of dead zone, when most of the other terrestrial channels are showing sport.

shove a dirty sock down my throat instead of making me watch the show. I saw 2 out of 5 on a Sunday block a few weeks ago. The mexico and the teacher in the tower ones. I could watch maybe once every two months if I was in a twisted frame of mind. The show only works because the whole society in the show are enablers.
No you don't mix reg and decaf. And you chew out who ever does and force him to make fresh pots. ETC. Cute once in the while but I rather visit my relatives weekly than watch this show weekly.

Heretic Apostate, I hope you get a chance to catch the episode "Mr. Monk goes to the Circus", which I have taken to calling the "Suck it up" episode. Some of the funniest interaction between Tony Shaloub and Bitty Schram (Monk and Sherona) occur in this episode. It's not spoiling much to say that the show reveals the ONE thing that Sherona is afraid of that Adrian has NO hangups over, and his complete lack of regard to her fears produces some of their best work, in my opinion.

Anyway, good luck on the Monk quest.

Hey, Heretic Apostate, I have four episodes of Monk recorded for you. If you want them, let know and I will transfer them to VHS and put them in the mail.

It does appear that they only show Monk once a week, but maybe they'll show some more episodes during sweeps month (Nov.), especially since T.S. won the Best Actor Emmy.

If you don't want them, please let me know and I'll just erase them. Thanks!

Good news!

I found out that Monk is being broadcast here! Season Premiere is today (Oct. 17) at 9 p.m.! I'm... so... happy!
