Monks move slower in 3.5 edition D&D

I don't know if the following is widely known yet or not but...

I just came across the following link that contains scanned pages of the the 3.5 edition players handbook and noticed something interesting. That is, monks now have a top speed bonus of +60 feet as opposed to +90 feet they get in 3.0 edition.

I personnaly like this change better as I felt the +90 got a little rediculous. What does everyone else think?

Um, the monk speed bonus at 20th level has always been 60 feet. Their base is 30, bonus 60, sum is 90. This is not a change, it's a different way of writing it on the table.

Actually its the same. In 3.5 its a speed bonus, in 3.0 it just tells you the speed. For example you would move at 90 feet in 3.0 as stated. In 3.5 your base speed, lets say 30, +60 feet is still 90.

It was never +90 ft. In 3.0 it was 90 ft. for Medium Monks and 60 ft. for small.

The revised monk gives a flat +60 ft. bonus to all Monks. So a human Monk will still move 90 ft. as a move action, but now a halfling monk will move 80 ft. as a move action. This is a real boon to halfling and gnome monks.

That is a good link, though, with the PHB pages and all. Has the section about the new monk bonus feats and flurry of blows ability.

I think the biggest one is that monks don't seem to have that -3 multiple attack progression any more. There's no mention of it in the text, and the chart shows the normal -5 multiple attack progression.

Yup, instead they changed flurry of blows so that it gives more attacks with less penalties at higher levels.
