D&D General Monster and NPC DataCard Template

I like the layout. I'm making (gery slowly) a character sheet app for myself, and after that I'll be doing a DM app.

Right now I've just laid out my character's animals in a layout that mimics the standard MM statblock format. It's awfully boring and doesn't highlight the important bits - HP, AC and special qualities - while your layout is nearly perfect for that, and a nearly perfect fit for how I've laid out my character sheet. You've saved me a lot of brain power by giving me a good starting point.

Thank you.

I'm glad you liked the layout. And I am glad it has given you inspiration or a head start on your own project. It is why we share things on this site.

Aye. Eventually my project might be in a condition worth sharing. (It's a when I have time thing).

There is one thing I did that might make sense for your PC/NPC cards at least (if not monster ones). When displaying Ability Scores, I put the Mod +Proficiency bonus where you put the saves. That way whenever I need to roll an ability check (including saves) I have ready access to the value to add whether I'm proficient or not.

I simply indicate which saves I'm proficient in with a checkmark (or you could underline the proficent saves, or use some other small visual indication).

I really like the layout of these cards they are very clean and well made thank you. I do have a question though would it be possible to adjust the size of the cards so that they will print 4 to a page instead of 2??

I can do that. I can make them the same size as my large format treasure cards. There will be less room for the data, even if I shrink the fields down. I'll keep the font size readable.

I'll add it to the queue to do.

Sorry I'm super late to this party, but is there a version without the drop downs? Or at least a free text option? I play a lot of homebrew and we're starting a SW5e game and the classes, races, and even alignments are all different. I tried my hand at gimp and other software to generate these myself but I am apparently very bad at this.

Sure. I do not think I knew how to do free-text options when I first built these, but I can add it easily. As soon as I have some time to get to it, I will update the files and announce the update.
