Monster database/spreadsheet

I was working on a random encounter table for my campaign and started getting annoyed when I had to check monster by monster to find ones for the appropriate climate and terrain. I was wondering if anyone knew of a good free database of monsters that contains CR, climate/terrain, type, and source. It would be really nice if it was an excel spreadsheet or a good program that allowed additions easily.

Me: Rolls dice - You see a troglodyte

Player: but troglodytes only live underground and we're on the plains

Me: Must be a new and undiscovered species of Troglodyte (takes away sun problems and low light vision)

Player: You suck.
