Monster Index Cards and other things...

I use handwritten cards. NOt only monsters get them... dungeon rooms, NPC's, magic items, campaign background, encounter tables, calendars... it all goes in there.

I have three cardboxes full now, plus one with blanks.

I am trying to print stat blocks on paper and glue them to 3x5 cards, but getting them into the files is a little slow (and handwriting the statblocks on would be much too slow), especially for books that I do not have electronic versions of statblocks for. After a battle with some relatively complicated devils wherein I had to repeatedly refer to the MM for spell like abilities, I decided that stat cards are a good idea.

I already use "initiative order" cards.

So now the wheels of time have turned many rounds... where now might I find a good source for monster cards for easy printout? (And how do you arrange to print them - are there standard index-sized stickers to stick onto the cards)?

I find that handwritten cards work just fine.

I use 4x6 cards myself. I can easily fit a monster per side and I just print them out on my old laser printer. I slap them in a black plastic box in alphabetical order behind the index tabs. Sorry, no link, this is my own work.
