Can a fey creature be undead? Or transformed by magic into a monstrosity? Goblins are fey, but are they not also humanoid?I'll be honest with you guys, I've always felt creature categories were a bit arbitrary. I can live with it, but how do you define a creature as "unnatural" in a fantasy world?
Yeah, I've never really cared for the monster categories of D&D. I'd rather them be used like tags.
A goblin would by #humanoid and #fey. One of those four-armed goblins from Eberron would add #monstrosity or #aberration.
