Other Picture Sights?

I remember seeing posted in a thread here awhile back a link to a sight with just about every pic from the monster manual.

I coulda sworn I saved the link, but of course I cant find it.

I think/believe it was a review site of some kind if that helps.

Anyone know what I am talking about?

Hmm...that "water elemental weird" is not a water weird.
i find applying the "water element" template from MotP to a giant constrictor snake makes a fine 3e rendition of the old water weird... :)

If the art displayed in the gallery is what we are going to really see in the finished product, I am VERY disappointed.

I thought the overall level of the art of MM was superior to the one displayed in the site for MM2.

Heck, most art present in CC2 is better than the one in the gallery!

Are you guys smokin' something? Reynolds and Hoover together? How can they go wrong.

This looks to be a very pretty book to me.

Nightfall, Not sure I agree with you on this one- you can't look at a few pics and use that to say that the MM2 will be using CC1 monsters....shame though, I would like to see a few of them done right. (But then I hear there is a revised CC plasnned?).
Oh, and BTw- the Ethereal Slayer looks V. Nice!

This must be it. I REALLY dislike Wayne Reynolds (if that's the one you were talking about).

All those extra large hands and arms simply don't ring a bell with me.

Old one,

In regards to Creature Collection Revised, yes it will fix the CRs and address the mechanics as well. But the other change will be, templates used (I believe Hags were mentioned), and also ELCS/stat adjustments for some of the more playable monsters/creatures in CC1.

I know you people might think I'm nuts but I swear that as Jeff Grubb can testify, there are a FEW monsters that came from the Creature Collections.

Is it just me or does there seem to be a large amount of Chainmail creatures in the book?

There are several, which is excellent in my book. Some of the critters from CM are extremely fun, and I love the idea of using my miniatures in a D&D game.

Just imagine...

DM: "And as the evil wizard finishes his spell, these appear:"

drops two Abyssal Ravagers onto the board

:D
