What - if any - of the MMII will be Open Source?

Supposedly (or so I heard) at some point after the ELH and portions of DDG make it into the SRD, the MM2 will follow. As for OGC designation in the book itself, I am guessing none, since no WotC book to date has had any.

Hmm...that "water elemental weird" is not a water weird. It's not slated for the Tome of Horros either. Ah well, you can't win 'em all. :)

Perhaps the creature is the same, just the shape or artwork has changed. As for the ToH, I omitted it because WotC was including it in the MM2. If it ends up being a totally different monster (just with the same name) perhaps we can squeeze it into an update later on.

On a side note, the Maze of Zayene 2 book has the water weird in it (affectionately called the Drench by Mr Kuntz). :D

I almost hope it isn't with the way that pic looks!

Cool. Thanks for the info!

I couln't see it in the tables of tumbnails, but it is there nonetheless.

There are some more pictures hiding there:

and a couple of dinosaurs not visible

and some more demons:

And here some poor fighter type dies a rather unpleasant death (don't they all?)

And a Greater Doppleganger?

A pile of kindling awaiting a fireball

You know I know this sounds a little nuts but I could SWEAR that those demons that Johno has linked to, looks almost like a Blade Demon...

Missing Images

I noticed there's a bunch of images missing in the small galleries and not the larger gallery and vice versa. So it's no surprise that there's images missing from both galleries. It looks like those demons are completely new as well. I was hoping that we'd see some of older ones back. I suspect one of those creatures could be an Avolakia which one of the characters from the web enhancement was.

Anyone else think the art quality is not as consistent in this book? Some of the stuff is phenomenal and other stuff sux.

Hope I am not the only one...

If the art displayed in the gallery is what we are going to really see in the finished product, I am VERY disappointed.

I thought the overall level of the art of MM was superior to the one displayed in the site for MM2.

Heck, most art present in CC2 is better than the one in the gallery!

I am certainly going to buy the book, but I believe it should have had better art than that.

The funny thing is that it is certainly something about style, since one of my friends found the art very good.

We RPGers can't seem to agree on many things, can we? :D
