Monster Manual II Art Gallery!

Dr,

Maybe but like I said, I know there are some in there and I trust my source. Besides the Fatling and Famine Spirit really DO look VERY similiar and have similiar characteristics.

Re: Ragewinds

Sorry, Ragewinds are descended from the old Sword Spirit of Planescape.
But there are some beasts from Creature Collection in the mix. :)

Oh well thanks for Clarifying that Jeff. I don't suppose you CAN tell me what creatures ARE from CC? Or that an NDA thing?

WotC themselves already said that there are a few monsters from the Creature Collection book in the MM2. I believe it was stated somewhere on their MsgBrds (quite a while back though).

I know but they never said WHICH monster books and this was after Bastion and a few others had released some monster books. Still I'm glad to see Jeff was helpful in clarifying that Searing Wind WASN'T used.

I just noticed: Quinton Hoover is on the team now! He was always one of my favorite CCG artists. It's nice to know Wayne Reynolds has a peer now. :)

Check out the full size pic of the ethereal slayer! Awesome!

*sighs* Is EVERYONE out to get me?! ;) *is kidding* Well even so I think that Razor boar/Iron Tusker is CERTAINLY dead on.

is it just me, or does the hook horror look... fatter? Like a nasty black turtle... not quite the impression I got in 2e...

Good to see that the Neogi, Zodar, Silt Horrors, Thri Kreen, Arcanoloths, Maraenoloths, Vaporighu, Psurlon, Ormyrr, Morkoth, Jermanlaine, Grell, Formorian, Dune Reaper, Braxat, Pheonix, Lupinal and Cerdival are finally back.

Though I noticed there's some monsters in the smaller galleries but not in the large gallery and vice versa.

Monsters From Beyond

I don't know if I'm at liberty to say which ones did/did not get picked up (Its a Saturday, and I'm just in the office working on yet another deadline). Besides, speculation is so much more fun. :) I can speak to the Ragewind and Famine Spirit only because they are my contributions (I did a lot of nasty undead for this volume).
