You also don't want to make clothes out of displacer beast hide. Won't you look silly with your clothes appearing 5 feet to your left? I imagine that'd be grounds for arrest in some places.

We butchered, dried and cured a few things in the early days of our WLD game. Off the top of my head I remember eating krenshar, ethereal maruaders and plain ol' vipers. Just remember that if you're making rations, grinding up a salt mephit over them is a cruel but effective way of preserving your food. Start the mephit head first unless you're feeling particularly evil.

Oh yeah, and gibbering mouthers make for a pretty good smoothie if you pick out the teeth and eyes. after all, no one wants a smoothie that stares at you and bites back. Mmmm, meat smoothie.

OOOOOOOOOO!!! Salt mephit salt would be highly in demand! I've had smoked salt before, and I can imagine smoked salt mephit salt would be an awesome addition to a barbecue rub mix.
