Monsternomicon or Liber Bestiarus: Any reviews?

All this begs the question... what do people look for when they get a monster book? Is it just interesting beasties?

I finally got to see a Monsternomicon (at my local store) and I can honestly say that it has all four of those! And in addition it has "awesome" art that helps you visualize the monsters in action... the ink blot comparisons are... very useful when describing a monster to players.

are they are saying in the Monsternmicon how you can become an iron lich ? ( like the process and if you need a potion and a phylactery and so on ... )
and can you guys give me some more information on the iron lich
and maybe the names of the undeads and a little detail about them

Disembodied - ghost of priest gone bad
Dread - undead with tool/weapon attachments
Eldritch - elvish vampire/lich
Excrutiator - tormentor
Hollowed - undead created by a cult
Iron Lich - lich that has gone mechanical
Mechanithrall - undead & mech servant
Pistol Wraith - undead pistoleer
Sepulchral Lurker - undead creation that guards places
Shaft Wight - restless dead miners
Tralls - undead slaves

What do I look for in a monster book? Anything about a creature that will suprise and/or scare a player. That's what I liked about a creature LIKE a Feral. You kill one, the others just "power up" and keep coming! Kill a bunch, the others you miss get REALLY strong really fast!
