Privateer Press does a great job of truly crafting some unique creatures to face off against in their Monsternomicon. It was something the Iron Kingdom RPG setting was sorely missing. Though there aren't the hundreds of creatures you can find in something like D&D, each and every one of them in this book comes fully fleshed out and no one will suffer from wondering how the critter might fit into their game. It does lack an index of creatures by "Encounter Points" though. If you need that I've written one up on my site. I found this monster book to be excellent - while there are only 40 individual monsters listed, many of them have several options to differentiate them. Dragonspawn, for example, have 27 optional gifts listed so you might have a poisonous beast with a long neck and the next version could be nimble with improved awareness. All the monsters have excellent artwork and a useful description to help a game master make his players treat them with caution. All the monsters here are creepy and deadly-looking. Handle with care.
