An interesting idea but the PHB says:

Prerequisites: A minimum ability score, another feat or feats, a minimum base attack bonus, a minimum number of ranks in one of more skills, or a class level a character must have in order to acquire this feat.

good point, I was applying the idea that if you lose the prereq's you can't use the feat until your prereq's get back up (if you get hit with a str zapping spell that drops your str below 13 you can't use power attack or any feats it's a prereq for until your str gets back up) ... so I assumed you could kinda apply the same idea when picking up a feat.
