I think I'll do this, and hopefully I'll have enough time to include it in the freelance project I'm working on. But I'd share it here first. Are the Fiend Folio and MMII books cool? I haven't heard much about them, and haven't had a chance to check them out yet.

MM2 is quite good. Fiend Folio is excellent, and if you use outsiders/extraplanar stuff at all then it's pretty much indespensible.

I downloaded the excel doc. It's really very cool...but I don't see any alignment column. That would have been perfect. What am I not seeing here?

In my slightly older version, it's to the right of the CR column. Try scrolling across?

Both are very good. The MM2 has a few monsters that are so cool that I just about drooled for an hour before deciding to insert them in the adventure I was running at the time, and the FF is full of evil goodness and extraplanar madness. It even has a few fiend-only prestige classes in it! Not to mention it's where swarms came from.

I'd buy 'em both, and in fact I did. :)

Does anybody know where I could find a listing of monster manual entries organized by alignment?

I have an access database that has an alignment table, unfortunatly it is at work and I won't be able to get you the list until two days from now. I'll email it to you if you still need it then.

The only thing I need to brain storm a random encounter is the geography/terrian of an area. Alignment rarely factors into my decision.

If this is a db for 3.5 monsters, would you be willing to send me a copy of the data table(s)? I've been working on a database for some time now, but I haven't figured out a way to import from the SRD, so it's cut-and-paste, cut-and-paste (oh so boring...). I also tried importing from Ardagor's pseudo-xml files, but Access doesn't seem to like those.

My email is sirwhiskers@worldnet.att.net

Thanks!
