Monsters by alignment

The only thing I need to brain storm a random encounter is the geography/terrian of an area. Alignment rarely factors into my decision.

What about a nonrandom encounter? Do you consider alignment at all when creating NPCs, or does Scarred Lands not focus on that element of game play?

I've got a big list of MM, MM2, Tome of Horrors, and Draconomicon arranged by name, climate/terrain, alingment, type, and subtype.

Unfortunately, it's not always useful since I re-named things and altered things based on how I use them IMC...

But it people want, I'll post it when I'm finished entering in the FF stuff. Eventually, this will contain Deities and Demigods, Book of Vile Darkness, Book of Exalted Deeds, Manual of the Planes, Monsters of Faerun, and Savage Species as well.

Yes and no. See it depends on the party make AND the goals of the party. There's evil..and then there's titanspawn. So while I can have "good" titanspawn that might not attack people, the party might if they are "zealous" (So far haven't encountered that.) But I will outsiders are ALWAYS servants of the gods and thus accorded respect. Not necessarily likeability but they are recognized as being close to the gods.

I would certainly go for that.

[hijack]When do you anticipate integrating the latest SRD changes? Do you give folks free updates when you do revise the Plexus - SRD?[/hijack]

I always give free updates to previous customers. I am slogging through making stat blocks for all of the SRD creatures and I'm using the most recent revision to give them a final check and edit for those creatures. I incorporated the most recent errata (October?) in the last revision, so they should be fairly clean up until this last update (which I haven't checked yet for any other changes). I'll make sure the revision following the stat block revision uses all of the files from this latest update. I am thinking that the follow up should also include DM and Player Reference sheets (as it should be a good time to be pulling tables from the files as I update at that point). I'll also be cleaning up any minor discrepancies that were noted by customers whether inherent in the files from the source or the few that managed to sneak in during the conversion process.
