Sure but how was Paizo supposed to virtue signal by using the same license that their greatest enemy is using?!
Oops. Careless. Please review the rules again.virtue signal
and Roll20, and Foundry, and Fantasy GroundsI don't think that the bigger picture is necessarily as simple as the licensing agreement for its rules. Is WotC really all that permissive with the CC when it also puts a lot of its content behind DM's Guild and walled gardens like D&D Beyond?
Which one is that? Is it by a established company? There’s already at least one Kickstarter out there for it.
Roll & Play Press. Yes, they’re an established company. Weird gatekeepy thing to say.Which one is that? Is it by an established company?
Gatekeepy how? You responded to my interest in wondering if established companies would support Daggerheart, due to the revocable nature of its license. That was the initial question.Roll & Play Press. Yes, they’re an established company. Weird gatekeepy thing to say.
you said they should not be able to do so, not that they are allowed to and doing so is okI am pretty sure that's what I said.
no idea, it would be a violation of the license though, but that only matters if there is anyone to enforce it, kinda like the OGLI'm pretty sure that's a violation of the DMsG policies.
the SRD is in CC and about as permissive as it gets (short of public domain). Is WotC really all that permissive with the CC when it also puts a lot of its content behind DM's Guild and walled gardens like D&D Beyond?
The Three Black Haflings one? I'm considering backing it. However the find print says it's a system neutral setting with stats on the side for 5e and Daggerheart, but meant for any RPG.There’s already at least one Kickstarter out there for it.
