Mordenkainen's Mag. Mansion & Bags of Holding

I find that keeping track of the "no bag in the rope trick" is just a pain in the butt. Forget it once and you set a bad precedent, enforce it and the group wastes twenty minutes while trying to decide what to do with the bag. I decided that for spell-created extradimensional spaces, bags of holding and the like simply don't function.

Aww, shucks. Leaving it in place ceates the ultimate trap, tho.

The extradimensional hallway. Or just a 1' section of hallway expanded to 10'. Even if the ROG makes his search DC to find the trap, he'd need a high DC k(Arc) check to figure out what it is, AND theres no way to disarm it....

And if you miss it....A one-way ticket to the Astral Plane.

Here's a question: has anyone had a bad guy attack an object, and destroy a party member's bag of holding as it hangs on their belt?
No, but I had a friend who added an actived Rod of Cancellation to a treasure pile. The party was in a hurry so they just tossed all of the treasure into the Bag of Holding. Poof! All gone.

This reminds me of a short story I read where scientists managed to create a hole into another dimension. Eventually somebody on the other side started pulling the machine that created the hole through the hole. The story ends there with the horrific notion that the entire universe will cease to exist once the hole-generator passes through.
"Tiger by the Tail" by A.G. Nourse.

Sorry, just had to share that, because I was very happy someone mentioned it...

I had no idea your butt was that big. I'm thinking power word: diet.
