Mord's Mansion questions...

If players take refuge in Mord's Mansion for the night in an area that could be searched by magical means, just how vulnerable are they? A lot is unsaid in the spell description, and I want to check my thinking here.

Is it detectable in any way? i.e. does Arcane Sight see an aura where the extradimensional doorway was created?

If it is detectable, and it's hit with a Greater Dispel, what happens?

It is a 7th level spell, so I'd err on the side of 'not detectable', but I'm open to suggestions... thanks!

Well, i'd assume first thing that a person with arcane sight would only detect a magical aura, where it is, how strong, and probobly find that it reads as Conjuration (Creation) magic. They would have to "see invisibility" to see the shimmering portal itself, and even then they couldn't enter it.

Now, as for dispel magic, I'm with the consensus of most board members that things in extra/nondimensional spaces are ejected in the area of the "portal" when such objects magic is completely removed, or you could simply say that the portal has been closed, and that they must wait for the duration to end before they are ejected.

Anyhow, those are only suggestions.
