More Orcs!

I'm SO adding these orcs to the orc-themed delve in Dungeon Delve!

Only complain: orcs don't have a Warchief. The have a Horde Leader!

The Creature Incarnations articles are by far my favourite - this is another great one.
I'm a big fan of the Orc Pyromaniac - the game needs more minions that blow up when you kill them.

If you're still reading this Greg, I found one other glitch - the Orc Alchemist's stat block notes "See also alchemists oil" next to its defenses, a power that doesn't exist.

I think I'm exception here. I would like some racial variation. Green orcs, red psionic orcs... maybe orcs like old D&D cartoon... whatever. This sounds like fluff for justifying combat variations of orc. Fluff for mechanics instead of fluff for story depth... meh...

I agree. I try to have about half the minions I design have interesting death mechanics. Mechanically, I think minions have a ton more design space. MM2 explores it a little more. I designed a plant creature that utilizes some interesting minion mechanics (you'll know it when you see it). I was hoping to design some interesting two-hit minions for the book I'm working on now, but unfortunately the nature of the creatures I'm designing wasn't conducive to the mechanics.

Noted. I'll try and remember to pass that along to the DDI team. The oil was a reference to a defensive power the creature had that allowed it to slide creatures away, I believe.

I like creature incarnations but they should have been in Dungeon imo . . . give more player crunch or fluff (you know fluff is not bad, right?) in Dragon.
