The problem with mentions at the table is I don't recall them later to fix. We work with physical copies of the books. I'm a DTP nerd.

Good printer, book binder, etc. And even with other peoples' work I'm a poor proofreader, after a page it all blurs together,

I used to be big on physical books at the table but have come to love having the game rules etc. online because:

--- everyone can see them at once if needed, no more passing the book(s) around the table
--- I can edit or tweak things without having to re-print multiple pages (I'm a real cheap-ass when it comes to the ripoff known as printer ink)
--- I can present more material and-or in greater depth, while also having short-form versions
--- spilling tea doesn't stain a webpage.

I am old school, I don't like a sea of laptops obscuring the view of the other players. I will admit that if not gaming at home a tablet full of pdf files beats moving a small library.

Laptops are overkill, and a nuisance. Tablets are fine, as are phones.

And the files are online, on a webpage, meaning they can be accessed from anywhere including between sessions.
