More terrorism in London?

The police have just under 2 hours ago shot . . .

Yes, I just heard this on the radio driving to work this morning (I'm six hours behind GMT). Still not much heard beyond that; apparently the suspect was running from police, darted into a station, jumped the turnstile, and boarded a train carriage, whereupon the pursuants shot him. I haven't heard anything further, though no casualties outside the individual who was shot and reported dead.

That there have been 2 (attempted) attacks on my local bit of the Northern Line in 2 days is oddly wearying. Ing & me are much more affected by today's shooting than the successful attacks of 7/7, somehow. It seems much closer to home.
