Most awesomest home theater setup... evar!

I sure do wish I knew what it was like to have so much freaking money I don't know what to do with it all. :heh:

I'm going to go buy a lottery ticket and top this guy (I have to win of course).

Well done. Although I have to ask why you wouldnt just build your own projector if you were already putting that much time into things? A couple of summers ago my roomate and I built one for ~$450, the specs of which would sell retail for over $2500. Its always nice to save a buck...or 2000.

I agree that it's beatiful and all, but I really Hate that people squander their money on something like that...

Squandering is a big word, I know, but he just as well could've done without the baroque-style pillars and stage...

and on top of that he has to show it off on a website...

But yeah, whatever floats his (house)boat I guess :)

The x-box is there, but I can understand you missing it in amongst the gazillions of items of kit he has.

He's using a Stewart screen, Marantz DLP projector, sunfire amps and subs.

Personally I would have gone for a 9" CRT (since it's a dedicated, light-controlled room) or 3 chip DLP (since they're starting to become affordable - at least for people that build their own home theater) and big subs like SVS (no need for small subs in a room that size!)

I couldn't see which video processor he's using.

Cheers,
Liam

This looks like Ceasar's personal entertainment suite. Anyone else get the roman vibe here?
Looks like classic high-end stage and movie theatres from the 20s and 30s--back when people used to dress up to go out and all that.

It's gaudy, but that's the point.
