Most Missed Defunct Gaming Magazines?

The magazine I miss most

Book of Dark Wisdom - it was a new magazine for Cthulhu gaming (both BRP and d20) that just started last year. It showed promise, but after the second issue they dropped all the gaming stuff and converted to a magazine of "dark fiction and Lovecraftian horror" instead.

I always wondered if that was a Chaosium decision and not theirs. :\

British mags from the late 70s/early 80s, especially Underword Oracle, News from Bree, and [Troll Crusher?

News from Bree was the first RPG magazine I ever bought (my first visit to a games shop I bought NfB #18, The Dragon #4, 2 twenty-sided dice and Metamorphosis Alpha. Ah, heady days!

I really liked the "halls of testing" in UO, we had lots of fun with them. The hall of testing theives was especially good - the DM had three players, and we each had 5 mins on a strict rota (egg timer!), made for a brilliant game! They also had the first "Ninja" class I ever saw in D&D. We had lots of fun with that too!

First got troll crusher at issue 3&4, I later became a contributor for a few issues until it went defunct - my section was called "Black Lotus".

Cheers

I understand from other collectors in the UK that all the cool fanzines were over there :D (Beholder[/i] being one that hasn't been mentioned yet).

On the American side, I wasn't into the fanzine scene, so I only know about Alarums & Excursions and Dungeoneer, and the odd magazines here and there that had Greyhawk stuff in them.

What other notable American fanzines existed?
