I ran my regular game of Pathfinder and had the chance to dabble with Battlestar Galactica RPG with a buddy of mine on-line. Other than that, I had a chance to play a rousing game of World in Flames (Not an RPG, I know, but I still played it...so there) and some sessions of Runebound.

I totally forgot that in addition to my nods to 4E and Pathfinder, I also played, literally ONE convention session, of a game ( I forget its name) based on the PDQ system, and one session of Savage Worlds. So, that's two more votes for "other" that I forgot.

3.X
Pathfinder
Steampunk using Spycraft 2.0 and EN Publishing's Elements of Magic: Mythic Earth.

Ran a very little bit of Fantasy Craft, got pissed off with the narrowness of its gear system, went back to faking it with Spycraft 2.0. I really, really hate the gear system in Fantasy Craft, which is too bad, since I very much like it in almost every other way. :.-( Combat is interesting, classes are flexible, I can ignore the magic system and use Elements of Magic... but I can't get past the crappy gear system - it is just too inflexible, and too woven into other aspects of the game.

The Auld Grump, it was poisons that first made me want to kill something, and not in a good way....

I think Savage Worlds (with its fantasy supplement PDF) and EPICrpg are the only other fantasy RPG's I have played this year. I think everything else is classified as sci fi. Which would be Traveller, Dresden Files, Starblazers, CORTEX, Eclipse Phase, and Silhouette.

Was Dragon Age listed? I played that too.

I wanted to play Wild Talents 2E and Mutants and Masterminds 2E, but that never happened. :(

Plus Aces and Eights, my favorite RPG of the year, and at least the past decade. It has been unbelievably fun. Never, ever thought I would like the Western genre, let alone love it as much as I have finally come to love it with this RPG. So definitely my personal shocking surprise hit of the year. With the FATE system being a close second. Mouseguard would probably be my third.

Makes me want to try out Legends of Anglerre. Even so the majority of my gaming this year has been fantasy, but a real nice mix of others too.

I am counting PbP games, as those are what I mostly do.

I do other systems, including Mutants & Masterminds, and Star Wars Saga Edition. Not Fantasy, of course, but they do take up time.
