Heward's Handy Haversack has to be #1.

EN Worlder (and friend of the show) William Ronald was playing a pixie in a recent campaign I ran. Because of his wings, he felt the Haversack might not be a good fit. So we made an adjustment and came up with the Faerie's Fancy Fannypack. :D

Wands of Cure Light Wounds. It's the gift that keeps on giving.

Nah Wands of Vigor, Lesser give more bang for your buck, and if you need healing during combat you probably need more than 1d8+1.

True enough! (We don't use any spells outside the PHB in our games, so I haven't actually seen that one.)

Any extradimensional carrying item, AC protective or DR items, any stat increasing items, as well as anything that assists in speeding up going places.

I will echo something that Clueless said. In our Epic game my character made circlets based off the Rary's Telepathic Bond + a a whole lot more.
Indispensible!

I'm a sucker for little stuff.

Quiver of Ehlonna.

Everfull Flask (or whatever its called).

Anything small, hard & throwable/slingable that has had Continual Light cast on it.

Things targeted by Reduce Item.

Anything that stores stuff in an extradimensional space, be it bag, haversack, vest, belt or cloak.

I saved my character's life with a tanglefoot bag one time.

We found ourselves in some sort of trap that turned the room upside down - the bottom being some sort of metal device which chopped people up, basically.

I took out my tanglefoot bag and shoved myself into, effectively sticking myself to the (now) ceiling of the room.

When your principal healer is a ranger with a stick, CLW is king.

I've always liked the Ring of Invisibility and Ring of Flying combo. It was especially useful in 2E as a Thief when you needed to be able to reach someone's back without them noticing in order to get backstab damage. As a halfling, it was hard to reach large or bigger creatures backs without some sort of flight.
