ugh! I tried it...It tasted like one of those cheap ice-pops I used to get as a kid..only melted and carbonated.

I haven't tried Pitch Black yet (it just looks wrong) but I love regular Mountain Dew. I actually really like Diet Dew too and I usually hate diet sodas.

My wife and I tried it. We love regular Dew and the orange stuff, but this was waaaay too sweet. I beleive our sentiment was along the lines of "it's like someone liquidated a whole bag of jelly beans and then chilled it."

Too tart? No, if anything, it's too sweet. But then again, I don't drink much soda. I tried it a week or so agao when I was driving late at night and needed something to keep me awake. I only drank half the bottle and threw the rest away. Not for me...

It's (to me) like Grape Soda with sweet tarts dissolved in it. Too nasty.

My wife is neutral about it - she'd take it or leave it.
