Movies Where You Don't Leave Before The Credits

Grumpy Old Men and the sequal. Outakes that actually are the funniest part of the movies.

I'm most likely misquoting but,
Hearing an old man say he is from the Hawaiian island of "I-kina-wana-layya". that made my sides hurt.

It's been a while, so I might have this wrong, but I think Flash Gordon
has an end scene of someone picking up Ming's ring with the words The End? and an evil laugh

Angel Heart
has has Johnny riding down in the elevator to hell.

Not quite in the same vein, but the Fight Club DVD
has the opening FBI warning that has been altered by Tyler Durden and the smiley face appears with Tyler's laugh.

Resident Evil - Insignificant
Just a repeat of one character's "Think I'm gonna get laid" comment, during a break in one of the songs.

The Sixth Sense - Highly Significant
M. Night Shaymalan walks us through the visual clues in the movie that hinted that Dr. Crowe himself was actually a ghost.
I assume that's just on the DVD, right? I always stay through the credits and am 99.999999999% positive that it wasn't in the theater.

Buffy the Vampire Slayer - Insignificant
It shows one of the vampires she staked earlier still undergoing a lengthy death scene.
More specifically, Paul Reubens, aka Pee Wee Herman.

I know it was on the VHS copy too, since that's where I first saw it. I don't know about the theatrical version, since I didn't see it in theaters.

lets see, Adventures in Babysitting, the guy they left hanging off the side of the building is still there, yelling "help".

Bill and Ted's Bogus Journey has magazine covers showing the group's progress and scandles. (that may well have been the only good part of the film I can remember)

Waynes World, I think it was where the credits included the recipe for chocalte brownies and the secret of The Crying Game.

Master and Commander, not a big thing but I liked it - when they got to the full listing of the cast instead of order of apearance they were listed as if it was the ship's orders - everyone was in order of rank and listed by full name, rank and then the actors name - pretty sure some info in the credits was not mentioned in the movie.

The Wizard of Speed and Time, the credits run over the characters in the threater watching the credits and arguing about whether to stay through them....

Kahuna Burger

Cinema Paradiso (1988) - Highly Significant
Scenes from the movie are reshown from different camera angles... but watch carefully: one of those scenes is entirely new, and it turns the plot on its head.

Edit: Added the movie release date: the original, Oscar-winning, theatrical release. I believe that the credits are different in the new 'Director's Cut' version.
