Multiclass Combos

See I was stoked about multi-classing then I read how you are very limited on the powers you get from your "multi-class" if you can call it that.

I want to play me Cleric/Fighter (ranger without taking ranger) but all the Cleric weapon attack powers are melee only!

If I go Cleric/Ranger I get HQ once and Encounter? and STILL cant use my Cleric powers with a bow.

I go Ranger/Cleric and I can heal once per DAY!


How dumb is that?
 

To list what one might do with a multiclass fighter...

Fighter/Cleric - the pious warrior, given the blessings of a god but not primarily driven to adventure or quest by devotion
Fighter/Paladin - the strong sword arm of the faithful, but paying more attention to worldly skill with the blade rather than relying on divine strength
Fighter/Ranger - a veteran of many battles on the edges of civilization, having developed a kind of wood smarts that has kept them among the living
Fighter/Rogue - a scoundrel or a realist, depending on how you look at things, prefers to fight fair only when it is unavoidable
Fighter/Warlock - somestimes when it seems like martial skill is not enough to solve all of your problems, " providence " has a way of opening new avenues of power, but for a price
Fighter/Warlord - the soldier who has developed a sense of how the greater battle flows about and uses that to coordinate and bolsters comrades on the field
Fighter/Wizard - the adventurer who began with a sharp blade but has learned the hard way that those who cannot fight fire with fire are less likely to survive the harsh trials of the bleak world, keeps a bag of tricks to surprise the enemy with
