The precise text of Warrior of the Wild is "Once per encounter, you can use the ranger's Hunter's Quarry class feature." Does that mean you can mark only once per encounter and get the extra damage once per round, or that you can mark only once per encounter and get the extra damage only once per encounter?
It appears from the way Hunter's Quarry works that it's the former, rather than the latter. You only "use" Hunter's Quarry when you use a minor action to designate an enemy as your target. After that, you don't have to "use" the Hunter's Quarry ability - the extra damage is just an effect of having been previously marked.
Thoughts?
