Multiclassing howto?

Okay, I'm confused - I'm running a test Avenger (lev14) at my house, just
for learning purposes and I can't quite figure out how to make him multiclass
into ranger.

I took these feats:

2 bladed warrior
Novice
Adept
Acolyte

but at level 11 I can't actually find paragon multiclassing to pick ranger and
get twin strike as an at-will power (heck, I can't seem to find it at all)?

Thanks in advance.

IIRC, Paragon Multiclass becomes an option under the Paragon Path subsection, under the Class tab.

To swap a current at-will power for your multiclass at-will power, I believe you have to go to the Retraining tab. At 11th level, you should have the option to swap an at-will power.

But I haven't tried Paragon Multiclassing in a bit, so this might be a bit off.

Mentat is right:
- IF you are 11th level
- IF you have taken the right feats
- THEN you will see one of the Paragon Path options as Paragon Multiclassing.

To retrain your at will after you have chosen that, you need to go to the retraining tab, and scroll down. Under the general level-by-level retraining options you have each of the options for the three feats you took (encounter, daily, utility) to gain Paragon Multiclassing. After that is the option to choose your at-will to retrain.

Okay, thanks guys for the replies.

I took these 4 feats:

2 bladed warrior
Novice Power
Adept Power
Acolyte Power

and I'm level 14 with strength 14 and dex 14.

So I should be able to do this, right?

Thanks!

As I understand it you have to have the required feats prior to reaching 11th level, and it takes the place of a Paragon Path (PHB1, page 209)

Yes, you should be able to paragon MC ranger. The twin strike, however, won't be terribly effective unless your Strength is much, much higher -- though perhaps with the two attacks, plus oath of enmity, you can suffer a Str score several points below your Wis score.

Yep got it. Well, Twin Strike is ok like that, with OOE and Twin Strike, and hopefully getting a Jagged weapon, was going crit-fishing.

You're right though, need to work on Strength to maximize it.

I'm just playing with this right now, gonna do a few "test" rounds with my son to see how it plays out. Tough giving up Radiant Servant or Student of Caiphon for it. Some of the later encounter and daily powers seem like they would work really well with OOE enhancing them.

Thanks!
