Multiclassing Monk question

Your character appears to be focused on being extremely survivable, with enough Strength that he can contribute his fair share in melee combat. You're actually reasonably well set up to just keep taking monk levels, rather than multiclassing. That'd probably be my top pick for you.

However, here's my official recommendation, should you choose to multiclass out of monk: rogue.

Here's why:
1) Sneak attack pairs very nicely with multiple attacks.
2) With even the amount you have invested in monk, if you take levels in a spellcasting class, you will be incredibly irrelevant as a caster.
3) Unless you're talking about casting utility spells... in which case you can Use Magic Device with scrolls and wands to achieve the same effect. Your Charisma is decent, so this option is fully available.

In my estimation, the two best breakpoints for multiclassing out of monk are after you hit monk 6 or monk 12, with a preference for monk 6.

I hope this helps,

I'd say 6 or 8. Level 8 you get an extra flurry attack, AC and unarmed damage increases, and it's just before a "no BAB increase" level. I suppose you could go to 10 for the bonus feat, but generally I find the best monks are the ones with as little monk in them as possible...

Eh, Reflex is the least dangerous save to fail, and IME Improved Evasion basically boils down to "If I roll a 1" more often than not. Maybe not quite that extreme, but most classes that get it tend to have good base reflex and decent to high dex already.

Okay, thanks for the assistance, guys. After reading this, my plan was to advance to level the ninth, get Improved Evasion (along with a third movement bonus), as well as free healing from Wholeness of Body (well, not free, as such), and more Slow Fall, which would have been nice, given that we've seen a lot of sheer drops so far. Sadly, I have had to retire my Monk due to death-killed by a young acid-breathing dragon, no less-and now have to roll a new character. Not a tough job, by any means-just gotta choose a class now (locked into Gnome, due to being in a quarantined Gnome city at this point).
