Munchkin d20

The Hackmaster thread got me to thinking about Munchkin d20. Not the card game; the d20 books. Anyone actually ever played it? Or Star Munchkin?

(On a similar note, we really enjoyed using the Dork20 cards when playing T1-4 under 3e.)

I own one, the monster book. I've never tried to run it, and honestly, it never occured to me that I would. If I tried to, I think I might start laughing until I couldn't breathe. Right off the bat, plutonium dragons get smaller and weaker as they age, and speak "badly dubbed Common," while Moon Maidens speak Crazy Moon Language. One of the entries, a Diminuitive Giant, has no text at all with it. To me, it's a cartoon book.

Nonetheless, the numbers are all there, if you really wanted to try.
