Michael swallows hard.
This should be awkward.
"Ahh, Vanitri, d'you think we work better as pirates, or ninjas?"
He considers the rest of the group.
"I think I'd probably look better as a pirate, but the rest of you might be better ninjas."
He pauses for the group to consider this.
"What, I'm the only one who hears these discussions?"

"Well, yes, but I guess I was more thinking about the style thing. I keep hearing people regard either pirates or ninja as the ultimate in exciting fighters. Me, I think I'd better be a pirate. I don't even know what a ninja is."

Ironwolf asks his psicrystal to keep an eye out while he sleeps... an unvoiced suspicion in the back of his mind suggests there may be ways to get slave collars on adventurers without forking over 1,000 gold up front. Petra doesn't seem the sort to have a bunch of goons jump her "new team" in an inn room, but one can't be too carefull.

Upon waking, Ironwolf regains his psionic focus and prepares for the promised training. When an opportunity presents itself, he talks with Petra about the financial arrangements he intends to make, confirming that he will have an opportunity to visit a banking house with the gold in question.

Michael's not entirely sure he's ever been impressive, but it does have the advantage of honesty...which is a good thing.
He sleeps with the peaceful demeanor of the innocent and unparanoid...though he does snore.
Before dawn, he awakens and slips outside to do his devotions. Michael prepares the following spells:

Vanitri sleeps lightly throught the night. He wakes up several times through the night, looks around to make sure he doesn't see anything, and goes back to sleep.

During the ride, She listened to the other talk, deciding to keep silent for the time being and learn all she could.

She wondered how people could kill each other in such a manner....she was glad that this was more of an undercover thing.

Later that night, Rosalynn slept well, thinking of the crowds and how they would react to her fighting. She was excited to be "leading" one of the teams and carefully prepared herself.
