Music app idea

I have no ability to implement this, but I had an idea.

Video game music open loops and cycles and, if well designed, switches to different strains and threads based on how well the player is doing in combat. MP3s, by contrast, just have one preset course, often rather short.

What if some video game designers who already have soundtracks sold apps that let you play part of a game's soundtrack, but set it to cycle continually or for X minutes, with a handy touchscreen adjuster so you could with a few taps switch the tone based on the party's actions.

Maybe, if we get far enough into the future, you could select different leitmotifs for each PC, and the program could weave them in at your command, like so that each player has his own song playing on his turn, as part of the grander soundtrack.

I wish I knew a thing about composing or coding. Or at least some friends who were gurus. I doubt it would be highly marketable, though, outside of tabletop gamers.
