D&D 4E My 4E House rules

Agamon

Adventurer
Entering: When entering a house, I'm going to require the PCs to knock on the door. Unless they live there. And take off your shoes, where were you raised, a barn? I don't really like 4E's implied "just bust the door down" ideology.

Leaving: I will also make sure the PCs are gracious guests and thank their hosts. I mean, that's what the social interaction rules are for, right?

Fighting: I read in another post that houses are elite creatures. I see them more as solo encounters. I mean what are you going to team it up with, a dog? lol

Building: Damn, the profession skill and craft rules are gone. I think I'll make a new class, Contractor. They'll be the builders. I can picture the abilities now: Dig Hole, Lay Foundation, Frame, Wire...I can see a higher level per day ability that drops houses on opponents, like in the Wizard of Oz. Cool.
