D&D 5E My Bard Player just broke the game - and I love it!

Yea, the best part is letting the players see how their very powerful former companion (current ally/patron?) changes the world with their power.

Oh that Bard should be in charge of the nation the player's are based out of from now on. Let him make special NPC appearances.

Oh don't you worry. I run a living world (each of my campaigns is set years after the last, and the events of each campaign bleed into the next). So the super bard will absolutely be a new factor for the rest of this campaign and the campaign to follow.

"Most powerful bard in the land" sounds like 1980s Stock Aitken & Waterman. Perhaps whenever the party encounter a bard in the future, they find out he or she works for The Big Bard?

I find this statement incongruous with the title. How can you win if you break the game Though, IMO, the bard did neither.
